This building was supposed to be renovated as part of the Penn Center development that got iced by the recession. Too bad about that.

I think it was supposed to be incorporated into Penn Center through facadism, not renovation.

Penn Center isn't completely dead is it? I thought I had read that the developer had not given up on plans for this project. I've searched for recent updates but can't find anything! Aloft, which this project was supposed to include, is my FAVORITE (less expensive) option now! Whenever I travel and budget is a concern, I look first for Aloft. I think it would be a great, unique addition to the Indy hotel market. Not to mention Le Meridien, an awesome hotel in its own (expensive) right.
